The house is located just outside a typical Provencal village called Callas in the department of Var. Callas is located at 400 m above sea level and is known for its olive oil and is located on the road to Gorges du Verdon. It is about 90 km to Nice airport and about 40 km to the sea and Frejus and Sainte-Maxime. It is also close to many wineries and good hiking. The house is fully equipped and we ourselves live in the house for both shorter and longer periods during autumn-winter-spring. We only rent out the house for a few summer weeks.

The view from the house is breathtaking, over both the village and the valley as well as with the mountains in the fund. On clear days you can even see the sea with a little good will! It is particularly beautiful at sunrise and at sunset as the sun illuminates the mountains and the village.
The house is very bright and is in good condition. There are three bedrooms one of which is a separate bedroom which is secluded with its own entrance, shower and toilet. The terraced plot of 3500 square meters is part of a former olive grove and is very sunny and transparently protected. The pool measures 10 * 5 meters and is 1.40 cm deep. Nice staircase in one corner makes it easy to walk in the pool. The pool area with its fine surfaces flows in the sun from morning to evening. There are sun loungers and a shower.
From the house it is only 300 meters down to Callas. The medieval village has 1800 inhabitants and is a vibrant village all year round.
