The view from the house is breathtaking, over both the village and the valley as well as with the mountains in the fund. On clear days you can even see the sea with a little good will! It is particularly beautiful at sunrise and at sunset as the sun illuminates the mountains and the village.

The terraced plot of 3500 square meters is part of a former olive grove and is very sunny and transparently protected. The pool measures 10 * 5 meters and is 1.40 cm deep. Nice staircase in one corner makes it easy to walk in the pool. The pool area with its fine surfaces flows in the sun from morning to evening. There are sun loungers and a shower.

From the house it is only 300 meters down to Callas. The medieval village has 1800 inhabitants and is a vibrant village all year round. The residents are mainly resident French but there are also some holiday homes. The village has three nice restaurants (our favorite is the cheap La Groupy"), a wine bar, a small hotel, a Bar au...

The proximity to numerous vineyards and having our "own" olive mill in the village gives a little extra!

Closest to the sea is the straight road down through the wine area between Callas and Le Muy and then on to Sainte-Maxime. 4 km from the house is Clavier. It is nice to have a drink at the local bar and check out the petanque games. The small village also has a couple of good restaurants and is the starting point for a nice hike up to Chapell Saint-Anne.

5 km from the house is Bargemon. Perhaps the most famous village in the area, very cozy to walk around, visit one of the restaurants in the square or just cool off with the Italian ice cream! A wonderful afternoon activity is to hike from the house up through the valley to Bargemon.

The villages are in practice a unit but have a completely different character. Fayence is the bigger one with more restaurants and services while Tourette is the "artist village". The villages are 30 minutes from the house and are a great place to stop for lunch if you also want to discover their neighbors, the nice villages of Callian...
